CSI: New York stars Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera) recently appeared on newsmagazine Access. "This is the best city. It's tremendous," Kanakaredes told the program. A small report can be found at Elyse's CSI Site.
Alliance Atlantis, which is one of the studios producing CSI, CSI: Miami and the upcoming CSI: New York, was recently restructured at an organisational level. The change will not affect the production of CSI. Read more at Television Week.
CSI creator Anthony Zuiker recently visited New York's Pace University to give them a taste of the new CSI board game. "It's like 'Clue' for the new millennium," Zuiker told the AP.
Scott Collins at the Los Angeles Times has penned an editorial looking at the decline of scripted programming in the fact of many successful reality shows. The article argues that a fresh breath of air is needed to shake up TV like The Cosby Show and CSI did. The complete article can be found here.
