- TV Shows on DVD has posted a better look at the cover art for the DVD and Blue-ray Disc release of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's ninth season.
- Eva La Rue has been nominated for a Kudo award as a supporting TV actress for her portrayal of Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami. The Kudos are presented by the Imagen Foundation, and the winners will be announced August 21 at the 24th Annual Imagen Awards. Kudos honor positive portrayals of Latinos and Latino culture in the entertainment industry. (Source)
- As CSI Files previously reported, Heidemarie Schnitzer was arrested and charged for stalking Miami star David Caruso. Her original jail sentence was seven months, but it has been reduced to five months because Schnitzer's lawyer appealed the verdict. (Source)
- According to a press release, La Rue attended the 2nd Annual PacSun Pipeline to a Cure, which gained $300,000 to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
- More than 3,000 film and television fans in the United Kingdom were polled by LOVEFiLM.com to determine the most addictive television series. CSI came in seventh with 5% of the votes. (The top 10 list can be found here.)
- A trailer has been released for Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the movie which will star CSI: New York's Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera) as the goddess Athena:
