The franchise claims one more victory before the year ends.

The final new episode of CSI: Miami until the first of the year came out on top in its timeslot with 14.46 million viewers. The series finale of My Own Worst Enemy came in second with 4.08 million viewers, and the second half of a two-hour episode of 20/20 was third with 3.41 million. In the 18-49 demographic, Miami earned a 3.7 rating/9 share at 10:00pm, rising to 3.9/10 at the half-hour. This put it ahead of Enemy (1.7/4) and 20/20 (1.2/3).

On Wednesday, New York's last new episode of 2008 pulled in 13.26 million viewers, putting it ahead of Law and Order (6.95 million) and Dirty Sexy Money (5.18 million). CSI: NY also came out on top in the key demographic with 3.6/10. Law was second with 1.8/5, rising to 2.0/6 at the half-hour, and Money was third with 1.7/5.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation came out on top in an hour full of drama repeats. The re-aired episode pulled in 12.57 million viewers, putting it ahead of Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? (6.95 million), a repeat of Grey's Anatomy (5.52 million), an NBC combo of The Office (4.99 million) and 30 Rock (4.66 million) repeats, and a repeat of Supernatural (2.07 million) on the CW. In the 18-49 demo, CSI earned 2.9/8, putting it ahead of NBC's combo (2.3/7 for The Office and 2.0/5 for 30 Rock), Grey's (1.8/5), Fifth Grader (1.5/4 at 9:00pm, rising to 1.9/5 at 9:30pm) and Supernatural (0.8/2). A repeat of Eleventh Hour led out of CSI with a timeslot-winning 10.07 million viewers and 2.4/7 in the key demographic.
