Ferlito To Appear in Indie Crime Drama

Vanessa Ferlito, soon to be a series regular on CSI: NY, will star with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Helen Mirren in the upcoming film Shadowboxer.

Reuters reported via Yahoo! that Ferlito had signed to appear in the independent drama, which tells the story of the unconventional relationship between a pair of contract killers, a woman (Mirren) and her stepson (Gooding), who are romantically involved with one another.

Ferlito will play Vickie, the pregnant wife of a mobster on the hit list of Gooding's character. The actress has been involved with mobsters before, having appeared on HBO's The Sopranos.

She will be seen on the big screen as well in next week's release of Spider-Man 2, in which she plays Louise. The first Spider-Man took in more than $800,000,000 at the box office.
