Kim Delaney's '10.5: Apocalypse' To Shake May Sweeps
By CarolinaApril 21, 2006 - 7:09 AM
NBC has announced the air date for their telefilm 10.5: Apocalypse.
The movie, which stars Miami alumni Kim Delaney (Megan Donner), is a continuation of the first telefilm 10.5, in which a series of cataclysmic earthquakes rattled the West Coast of the United States. Donner played seismologist Samantha Hill, who is in charge of finding an explanation for the quakes.
The first part of 10.5: Apocalypse will air on NBC May 21, and the conclusion will air two days later. In this two-parter, Hill will continue trying to find an explanation for the seismic activity as earthquakes continue to shatter the country, possibly leading to a divide of the continent.
10.5: Apocalypse will go against tough competition. The first part will air opposite Desperate Housewives, and the second part will go neck to neck in the ratings battle with House. The telefilm's predecessor averaged 20 million viewers back in 2004.
