'Film Shoots'

Huell Howser finds the Big Apple in the City of Angels.

The series Downtown, which airs on the KCET station in Los Angeles, visits sites all over the community. Previous episodes have explored the Downtown Art Walk, the Eastern Columbia Building and the Los Angeles State Historic Park, to name a few.

In the most recent episode, Howser visits the set of CSI: New York. Despite the show's name, most of the episodes are filmed in Los Angeles. Titled "Film Shoots", this episode of Downtown shows how Los Angeles stands in for New York City.

During the episode, Howser will be chatting with some of the actors from the series. "Film Shoots" will also show the many trucks and production workers that make film crews a common sight in downtown Los Angeles. This episode airs Wednesday, June 20, at 7:30 PM on KCET channel 28.
