- CSI: New York's Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) was presented with the Ronald H. Brown International Community Service Award at The Greater Washington Urban League's 37th Annual Whitney M. Young Jr. Memorial Gala on March 18. (Source)
- Twilight actor Michael Welch will appear in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation airing in April. The actor has previously guest-starred on CSI ("Blood Lust") as well as CSI: Miami ("Permanent Vacation").
- The second season of the VH1 series Free Radio will feature a guest appearance from Miami's Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne). (Source: PR Newswire)
- George Eads (CSI's Nick Stokes) was chosen by TV Guide magazine as one of the 10 sexiest men on television. The issue hits newsstands March 26.
- According to Blabbermouth.net, Miami was planning to write an episode featuring several songs from the band Nirvana; however, the deal fell through when Kurt Cobain's widow Courtney Love, the publisher and former members of the band requested "twice the industry standard" in licensing fees to use the songs.
- As CSI Files reported last year, Planet Toys was sued for selling CSI fingerprint kits containing asbestos. The company is facing a potential class action lawsuit and has filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. (Source)
