ALERT: Emily Procter Visits 'Entertainment Tonight'

In a segment that will air tonight, Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) will talk to Entertainment Tonight about her similarities with her Miami persona.

"There is a lot of me in Calleigh," she told host Mary Hart. "It has been one of the most rewarding career experiences for me to feel like I have this family. And to have to sneak in character in certain ways [on a procedural drama] is very fulfilling."

Rewarding but sometimes challenging, admitted, Procter, as one of the traits she doesn't share with Calleigh is the character's mannish attitude. "My grandmother was one of four girls and those women all had between two and four children and they all had girls but one. So I battle sometimes with Calleigh. Should she be more fierce or less fierce, but what I do like about her is she is very smart and dedicated to what she does."

The actress hasn't been shy about revealing her love for interior design in the past, and when asked what she would do if she weren't an actress she didn't hesitate. "I just love construction," she said. "I have always loved it. My mother would drive my brother and I around and we would look at all the equipment. I always remember being fascinated with space. There is something about color and texture and space that appeals to me. I buy a house, decorate it and when someone says they want it, I sell it."
