'Coming of Rage' Comes Out On Top

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's last new episode of the season, "Coming of Rage," was the most-watched show on television last night.
Mediaweek's Programming Insider reported that "Coming of Rage" earned a 18.1/27. This means that of 18.1% households with television sets had them tuned into CSI, while 27% of households watching TV during that hour were viewing the episode.
CSI's strong performance helped CBS win the night by a sizeable margin. CBS earned an overall score of 13.3/20, well ahead of second place NBC, which scored 8.6/13. NBC's schedule for last night consisted of "Must-See TV" comedy reruns and a rerun of ER. The only new NBC show to run last night was Good Morning, Miami, which came in second in its timeslot with a 8.1/12.
CSI's leadout show, Without a Trace also won its hour, with a score of 14.3/22. It was the second-most watched show of the evening. Opposite it, a rerun of ER scored a 8.9/14, coming in at second place for the hour.
Though "Coming of Rage" easily came out on top, its ratings were somewhat decreased from last week's new episode. "Grissom v. Volcano" scored a 19.6/28 last week. (story)
