Horatio investigates the suspicious death of a fellow police officer who was also his friend in tonight's new episode of CSI: Miami, "The Oath".

TV Guide offers the following synopsis of the episode, which airs on CBS at 10pm eastern time tonight:

A police officer collapses and dies after pulling over a car, and the investigation reveals he was murdered. Horatio grows suspicious when Internal Affairs gets involved in the case, leading him to believe that the killing wasn't a random crime. Also: Calleigh aids an abused woman who is living with one of the suspects in the probe, and Yelina begins dating Horatio's nemesis who is heading up the Internal Affairs inquiry.

"The Oath" was written by Alison Lea Bingeman, who has penned episodes of The Lost World and Ghost Stories. The episode was directed by Duane Clark, who helmed Miami's Witness to Murder", as well as episodes of One Tree Hill and Providence.
