With a return to reruns, CSI: Miami struggled to come first in the Monday overnight ratings.

"Camp Fear" averaged a 8.0/13 rating, according to figures published at Zap2it. This means approximately 8.0% of American households with television sets were tuned into the show, while the episode was viewed by 13% of households watching television at the time. These figures come from overnight ratings based on the top markets, and final ratings will be available next week.

The entire evening was pushed back 15 minutes due to a speech by George W. Bush. So Miami's rating for the hour also includes the conclusion of Still Standing. Bush's speech delivered a 9.2/13 rating to CBS. But most US viewers chose to watch it on NBC, delivering the network a 12.7/18 rating according to MediaWeek.

This compares to a 9.7/16 rating for the last rerun, "A Horrible Mind" earlier this month.

With these figures, Miami just about managed to retain its #1 position in the 10pm slot, beating Crossing Jordan which gave a 7.8/13 to NBC, and a special news report on ABC that received 6.5/11.

For the evening CBS came first with an average of 8.6/13, just ahead of NBC on 8.5/13, ABC on 8.3/13, Fox on 4.8/7, the WB on 3.2/4 and finally UPN on 3.0/4. When final ratings come out, NBC or possibly even ABC may well be the victor for the night.
