CSI: New York's arrival was confirmed Saturday, and is expected to debut this fall.

CBS 2 confirmed that the new CSI spinoff will be produced by the team behind CSI and CSI: Miami, as reported by CSI Files on Friday (story). It has not yet been determined whether the new show will be filmed in Los Angeles or New York City.

CBS also announced that four new shows would be renewed for second seasons. Two and a Half Men, Joan of Arcadia, Navy NCIS, and Cold Case will be returning for fall 2004. Mark Burnett will also produce two more Survivor shows for the network.

CBS President Les Moonves expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming fall season. "It's a great schedule," he said. "To get on on our schedule for next season, you have to be damn good." CBS is enjoying a successful season after winning the November sweeps by a sizeable margin.
