Hello World!
I was never really into crime shows before CSI, but I've now hooked on to another great investigative series: Without a Trace. It's fascinating to follow the twists and turns of each case unfold each week, and the actors are top-notch.
Unfortunately, Channel 9 in Australia is playing the series out of order. Although Without a Trace is, like CSI, essentially an episodic drama series, it's still preferable to watch the relationships develop between the characters over the course of the season. So we were unfortunately thrown in at the deep end here, but the first episode screened, "Maple Street", was enough to draw me in.

This Week's Television Listings
- CBS will be showing a repeat of CSI: Miami's "Tinder Box" at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time tonight. Here's how the network describes the episode:
"Speedle and Delko are present when a trendy nightclub catches fire, apparently from a deejay's pyrotechnics display, killing 16 people and injuring dozens of others. But the ensuing investigation reveals it may have been arson to cover up a murder. Also: Horatio probes the death of a prostitute who is found dead in a judge's bathroom in his home."
- Thursday night's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode will be determined by a viewer poll. Head over to the CBS web site to make your choice from "Cross-Jurisdictions", "Cats in the Cradle..." and "Chasing the Bus".
- Spike TV will be showing CSI's "Cool Change" at 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
"In the aftermath of the Gribbs shooting, Brass is sent back to homicide. Grissom is made head of the CSI unit. He brings in Sara Sidel from San Francisco to investigate the shooting. This irritates Catherine who wants to solve the case. Warrick, on suspension, learns he has a debt to the judge. Grissom and Nick take the case of a man who kills himself hours after winning a casino jackpot."
