Hello World!
Does it seem like this summer flew by? It really does. Wasn't the season finale, like, 3 days ago? We're getting all these spoilers and it makes me feel like I haven't done much to enjoy my summer.
Probably because I haven't done much to enjoy my summer. Alas.
I was shocked to find out this week that the producers of Miami decided to write Sofia Milos (Yelina Salas) out of the show. I guess I could consider myself a fan of Milos, even though I find it hard to understand what she's saying half the time. Still, I'm a fan of the ladies. I'm a lady-ist. So I have to sympathize with the girl.
I've never been a fan of the way the writers portrayed her character - emotionally weak one day, avenger of the abused the other - but I always wished the writers had taken the time to work on her character, because I find the "single mother/cop" quite interesting. I guess now we'll never know.
And then there's also the Horatio-Yelina saga. I keep wondering how they're going to explain this, because Horatio seemed to spend most of his free time writing, "Horatio + Yelena 4 eva!!!" in all of his notebooks (no, he doesn't know how to spell her name. There's the comedy, get it?). No doubt, this season will be the season of angst of Horatio, as opposed to the other seasons, which were merely just morose. Refill your bottles of Zoloft while you can, folks.
So long, Sofia. May you move on to bigger, better, and... well, I guess that just leaves CSI.

Horatio learns that the victim was an investigative aide working for Alcohol Beverage Control and was monitoring underage drinking. As Horatio interviews the club's owner, an unknown man drives by the club, sees that the police are there, and crashes his car while fleeing the scene. However, the case gets more complicated when they discover another murdered victim inside the car. DNA from the second victim's watch ultimately leads them to day spa where the services may not be entirely legal. Meanwhile, Calleigh and Ryan work together to determine whether an insecure and underage teenager at the club that night had anything to do with the murder."

Even though their suspect is covered in the victim's blood and has a wooden stake thought to be the murder weapon at her side, Mac thinks there is more to the case than what they see. Meanwhile, Danny and Aiden investigate the murder of a "professional" pickpocket who was beaten to death."
- Another one of CSI's syndicated episodes will also air on Thursday night at 9/8c. Here's a description of "Compulsion":

The fingerprint is linked to Jesse Acheson, who becomes the prime suspect in the case. Meanwhile, when a teen boy is found dead in his bedroom, the Las Vegas Police Department elicits a confession from his brother, but the evidence leads the CSIs in another direction."
