Petersen Weds In Italy

William Petersen married his longtime companion in Italy last weekend before about 75 witnesses.

SFGate.com reported that the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star, who plays Gil Grissom on the series, married schoolteacher Gina Cirrone in Petrignano, Umbria on Saturday.

As previously reported, Cirrone formerly taught science in Chicago-area schools and used episodes of CSI to interest her students.

The couple, who live in Los Angeles, will honeymoon in Europe, according to Petersen's publicist.

E! Online reported that the bride wore Vera Wang.

This was the second wedding for Petersen, who has a 28-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
