In a segment that will air tonight, Entertainment Tonight will visit the set of CSI's season finale, "Way To Go," to get a behind the scenes look.

The episode follows the aftermath of Captain Brass's shooting, and reveals there's a chance he won't make it out of the hospital alive. Grissom, as Brass's power of attorney, will be forced to make a medical decision that could kill his best friend.

"One of the CSIs is in very extreme danger," said Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins). "Somebody could go; I'm praying down on bended knee that it's not the coroner."

Meanwhile, Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) will be dealing with more personal matters. "I look forward to something that's going to challenge me and put my character in some kind of jeopardy," the actress said. "It means she's going to be out of her element and that gives me an opportunity to try new things."

However, fans may not see much of Catherine tonight, as Helgenberger missed most of the finale's filming. "I was filming a movie at the time," she explained.

But while Brass lies on a hospital bed the show must go on in the lab. The team tackles the case of a murder victim with a very unusual physiology. "This gentleman was a Civil War re-enactor," Hall revealed. "Back in the 18th and 19th century a very thin waist was prized by nobility. A lot of this story has to do with why his waist is so thin and why he's been decapitated."
