- CSI Files previously reported that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Gerald McCullouch (Bobby Dawson) was attacked on the subway last month. The actor decided to tell the story in his own words on Gay City News.
- Hollywood veteran James Whitmore died of lung cancer earlier this month at the age of 87. The actor's final television appearance was in "Ending Happy", a 2007 episode of CSI. (Source)
- CSI: Miami star Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) announced her engagement to Joe Cappuccio last year. However, the pair has decided to call off the wedding. "I think our issues and our patterns just butted up against each other wrong, and some people are capable of breaking through those issues and patterns and learning and growing, and some people aren't," the actress told The Insider.
- The newest addition to CSI, Laurence Fishburne (Dr Raymond Langston), is scheduled to appear on CBS's The Early Show and ABC's The View on Thursday, February 19. (Check local listings.)

- The first season of CSI will be released on Blue-ray Disc May 12. The high-definition, widescreen format will include new special features. The suggested retail price for the Blue-ray Disc is $99.99.
