'Extreme' Wins Monday Night

CSI: Miami's new episode "Extreme" came in first place in the ratings Monday night, beating out ABC's Monday Night Football and helping CBS win the night.

According to Zap2It, "Extreme" scored a 12.5/20, which means that 12.5% of households with television sets had them tuned into CSI: Miami, while 20% of households watching TV during that hour were viewing the episode. Monday Night Football averaged at 11.3/18 for the hour, down slightly from the previous hour's 11.9/18. CSI: Miami was both the most-watched show of the 10pm eastern hour, and of the night overall.

With the help of "Extreme," CBS won the night, averaging a rating of 10.4/16. ABC came in second with an overall rating of 10.0/15, while NBC took third place with 6.6/10.

CSI: Miami's lead-in shows were came in second to Monday Night Football in the 9pm hour. Everybody Loves Raymond scored a 11.5/17 in the first half hour, while Two and a Half Men scored a 9.9/15.
