- At the halfway point of November sweeps, CBS beat the other four major networks in total viewers with 11.33 million. However, it came in third in the 18-49 demographic behind ABC (3.3 rating/9 share) and NBC (3.0/8) with 3.0/8. (Source: Mediaweek)
- CSI: New York's Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) is supporting the McDonald's All American Achievers essay contest for 7th and 8th graders. The contest encourages students to excel in academics, character development and community service. "It's great to see McDonald's is leading the path and shaping the next generation of leaders. We need to keep our students encouraged and motivated now so they can be prepared for the future," Harper said.
- The official site for the new CSI: NY PC game has behind the scenes videos featuring Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor), Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera), Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) and Eddie Cahill (Don Flack).
- With milestone episodes airing this week, CSI: Miami and New York fans can reminisce about past seasons. Miami has a list of 150 Deadly Crimes to go along with it's 150th episode, and CSI: NY has a list of 100 Killer Quips to celebrate the 100th episode.

- CBS recording artist Sharon Little is going to appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: NY. (Little's website can be visited here.)
- Jam! Showbiz reports that CSI franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer is one of the 50 top-earning celebrities over 50 according to Forbes magazine. Last year, at age 63, Bruckheimer earned $145 million, putting him in second place on the list.

Louis Lombardi is set to guest-star in an upcoming episode of New York. "It's a pretty fun role. It's just a hustler, you know? It's a guy who gets out of prison and goes back to hustlin'," the actor said. (Source)

CSI: NY's 100th episode, "My Name is Mac Taylor", will have two murder victims named Mac Taylor: one is shot and the other falls down a spiral staircase. Fifteen more Mac Taylors will be shown during the episode, in addition to the show's leading man (played by Sinise). Sinise and guest-star Julia Ormond (who has a three-episode arc on the series) filmed on location in New York City. "What I like about Mac is that he's a straight shooter. He's honorable. He just wants to do what's right," Sinise told News OK.
