- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Robert David Hall (Dr Al Robbins) was honored as one of four 2009 California Civil Rights Heroes. Hall is on the board of directors of the National Organization on Disability. Last year, he founded the Inclusion in the Arts & Media of People With Disabilities (I AM PWD) campaign and currently serves as the community chairman.
- "Hyper Fuzz Funny Car" from Scott Weiland's solo album "Happy" In Galoshes will be featured in the upcoming episode of CSI: New York, "Rush to Judgment", which airs January 21. (Source)
- Pat Lawlor's design firm has created a pinball game based on CSI. The game even includes a skull that shoots balls from the eye sockets:
- CSI has the usual array of toys and mechanical tricks and traps. And yes, there is a skull in the game. That was suggested by the creator of the show [Anthony Zuiker], who is a big pinball fan.

- CSI: Miami's David Caruso (Horatio Caine) has produced a fine art print called Chinerica I. The print is an image of the American flag done in the yellow and red colors found on the Chinese flag. Gallery Brown in Los Angeles described the print as "conceptualized by Caruso and brought to life by noted photorealist Alan Locke." Locke said the image challenges "the eclipse of working-class America and…the culture itself." (Source: Artnet News. The screenprint can be viewed here.)
- When Hill Harper (CSI: NY's Dr Sheldon Hawkes) co-anchors the BET coverage of President-Elect Barack Obama's inauguration, he and Jeff Johnson (host of BET news) will put the spotlight on the new president's international appeal. They will also take a look at the new first lady, Michelle Obama. (Source)
- The "CSI: Live" stage show started in Valencia, California before moving on to Chicago, Illinois. The show is now going to entertain a live audience at the Loeb Playhouse of Purdue Stewart Center in West Lafayette, Indiana. "CSI: Live" will be presented on January 30 at 7:00pm.
