While the flagship CSI may be slipping a little in it’s head-to-head with Gray’s Anatomy, CSI:Miami continues to show why it’s the most watched drama in the world and CSI:NY proves there’s no competition on Wednesday nights.
On Monday, CBS won the night, averaging a 9.4/15 share, ahead of NBC’s 7.8/12 and ABC’s 5.3/8. CSI:Miami contributed to this victory, posting a strong 11.8/19 against NBC’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which continued to underperform with a 5.7/9, and the season premiere of What About Brian, with a 5.0/8.
Wednesday night, CBS won overall with a 9.8/15, while ABC, 9.4/15, took the key 18-49 demographic. CSI:NY closed the night strong for CBS with a 11./19. NBC’s Kidnapped was moved to another night and ABC’s new show The Nine slipped to a 5.7/9 in its second week.
CBS won Thursday night with a 10.6/17 share overall, beating ABC’s 10.1/16, despite the fact that Gray’s Anatomy beat CSI by a margin of 14.6/22 against 13.3/20, or roughly 1.25 million viewers.
