Watch 'CSI' Five Nights A Week From September

Gil Grissom and the team at the Las Vegas crime lab will be solving crimes five nights a week from next month.

Spike TV, which holds the off-network rerun rights to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, will show episodes of the series every weekday night starting September 13, according to a press release at Yahoo! CSI will be telecast from 7-9 p.m. Eastern Time on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 7-11 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday evenings.

The cable network will launch its new CSI schedule with a special "best of" marathon, which will run for five days between Monday, September 6, and Friday, September 10. The best episodes of season one will be screened on the Monday, followed by highlights from season two on Tuesday, season three on Wednesday and season four on Thursday. Friday will be a special "best of all seasons" day.

MXC, Spike's comedy series which edits together footage from Japanese games shows to form a new story, will prepare a "special themed episode" to celebrate CSI's move to five nights a week. Scheduled to air at 10:00 p.m. on September 2, the episode will reportedly see MXC's forensic team battle it out with "Kids Entertainment Industry" to solve a crime.

Spike TV, previously known as TNN, acquired the off-network rerun rights to CSI in 2002 for a reported $1.6 million per episode. The rights to CSI: Miami were sold to A&E in early 2003 (story).
