CBS swept the overnight ratings on Monday as its comedies outscored movies on both NBC and ABC. CSI: Miami earned an 11.7 rating/19 share, its highest overnight ratings of May sweeps thus far.

"Freaks and Tweaks" improved on the ratings for last week's "Tinder Box", which received an 11.4 rating/17 share in the overnights, according to Zap2It. This week, approximately 11.7% of American households with television sets were tuned to CSI: Miami, and 17% of households watching television at the time had "Freaks and Tweaks" on the screen.

The night's most watched show was CBS's Everybody Loves Raymond with a 12.3/19 rating. NBC's Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company averaged a 6.6/10 for the first hour and rose slightly to 7.1/12 in the 10 p.m. timeslot against CSI: Miami.

CBS averaged a 10.3 rating/16 share for the night, a significant improvement on NBC's 7.0/11. The CSI network also led in the important demographic of adults 18-49.

7th Heaven averaged a strong 6.9/11 at 8 p.m., outscoring the season finale of Boston Public and allowing The WB to finish in third place over FOX, though that may change when the total ratings are calculated later in the week.
