- CSI: New York stars Eddie Cahill (Don Flack) and AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) have signed up to be celebrity bloggers for NHL.com during the Stanley Cup playoffs this year.
- "I have a weird voice, I know," Emily Procter said during an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly. The CSI: Miami actress explained that her voice sounds the way it does because she broke her nose in the past. She also said she feels self-conscious about it sometimes, but a doctor advised her not to get surgery to correct the problem while she's still acting. "People write in, and say they hate it, but I can't do anything about it!" (Source: CTV.ca)
- Hill Harper (Sheldon Hawkes) will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 Building Leadership in the African American Community for Kids (BLAACK) Conference in Aurora, Colorado. The goal of the conference is to promote academic excellence among African American students and will take place Saturday, April 19 at Overland High School.

- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will have an upcoming episode penned by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn. The two men normally write for the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. According to the Daily Telegraph, the CSI episode will feature Katy Sagal (Married With Children's Peg Bundy), and the plot will involve a sitcom star with an ego problem.
- At "Writing for the Screen and Stage: An Interdisciplinary Panel", an event held to give advice to aspiring writers, directors and actors at Northwestern University, CSI star Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) was one of six speakers to talk about the entertainment industry. Helgenberger urged the students to be persistent:
- There are moments of despair. The important thing to always keep in mind is to always go back to the craft and go back to the process.
