- A forensic analyst lecturing has said she doesn't watch CSI. "It's so inaccurate. It drives me crazy," she said. More can be found at The News-Star Online.
- According to a study, US shows are deemed the most intellectual by UK viewers. The X-Files rated highest, but CSI also ranked highly. More can be read at Guardian Unlimited.
- On set access to the CSI set is one of the things on offer at a charity auction. The event is to benefit the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and will be hosted by Third Rock from the Sun's John Lithgow.
- The Salt Lake tribune recommends watching "the original and better half" of the CSI franchise in an article of recommended TV. "The reason is glitzy, high-tech production values and the team of William Peterson and Marg Helgenberger," wrote Vince Horiuchi. "At least they are professionals actually working at their jobs, unlike the doctors on the relationship-heavy soap opera, ER." The full article can be found here.
- Students have formed a "Forensic Science Club" as their university lacked forensic science program. TV, and CSI in particular, is attributed to some of that interest and demand. Read the article here at The Minnesota Daily.
