Original Cast Again Nominated For SAG Award
By ChristianJanuary 13, 2005 - 2:24 PM
The Screen Actors Guild this week announced that for the fourth year in a row, the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation cast has been nominated for their Best Drama Series Cast award.
The SAG awards will be presented on the 5th of February in a ceremony that will be shows on cable channel TNT. Other nominees in CSI's category, which is officially called "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series," include the casts of 24, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos and The West Wing.
This is the fourth year in a row that the original CSI has been nominated by SAG. In 2002, they lost out to the cast of the West Wing, while in both 2003 and 2004 the Six Feet Under actors were victorious. This year, CSI will at least have less crime show competition, as both Law & Order and Without a Trace failed to be nominated this year.
A full list of all the SAG nominees in both film and television can be found by following this link.
As reported earlier this week, CSI was already victorious at this year's People's Choice Awards, where both Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) and the original CSI itself won awards, although CSI: New York failed to win the Best New Show award.
Several media outlets have posted photos from the event featuring cast members of both the original CSI and the Big Apple spin-off. Elyse managed to dig up a full list of all these photos:

Thanks agian to Elyse's for this!
