'Witness To Murder' Is Monday Night's Champ

CSI: Miami's brand new episode, "Witness to Murder," was the most watched program on television last night, helping CBS to claim an overall victory for the evening.
According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Witness to Murder" scored a 15.1 rating/22 share. This means that 15.1% of households with television sets had them tuned into CSI: Miami, while 22% of households watching TV during that hour were viewing "Witness to Murder." "Witness to Murder" improved upon the ratings of last week's episode, "Complications", which scored a 14.6/22.
CBS claimed overall victory for the evening, with a 12.1/17 average. Fast overnights predicted CBS averaged 16.86 million viewers last night. Second place NBC scored a 8.7/13, and averaged 13.28 million viewers.
Miami's lead-in shows, the comedies Everybody Loves Raymond and Two and a Half Men won their timeslots, scoring 14.4/20 and 12.1/17 respectively. CSI: Miami's competitors, NBC's Average Joe and the final hour of the movie Enemy of the State finished well behind the CBS drama, scoring 6.3/10 and 5.6/8 respectively.
