All three shows are airing new episodes this week, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation bids adieu to a main cast member.

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: Miami becomes a family affair in "Permanent Vacation":

When a family vacation turns deadly, the CSIs must find the killer before the survivors take justice into their own hands.

Eagle Egilsson has directed five previous episodes of Miami, including last season's "Just Murdered". Barry O'Brien has written 11 episodes of Miami including "Permanent Vacation". He also wrote this season's "Bang, Bang, Your Debt". Krystal Houghton has written eight other episodes of Miami including the season six premiere, "Dangerous Son".

"Permanent Vacation" includes the following guest actors and actresses:

  • Gabrielle Christian as Amy Hobbs
  • Leslie Hope as Denise Partney
  • Dean Cain as Roger Partney
  • Michael Welsh as Shane Partney
  • Antonio Jaramillo as Mitch Pena
  • Wes Brown as Brian Partney

Gabrielle Christian is listed as a recurring character, but the actress has never appeared on Miami before. It is possible that she will be recurring starting with this week's episode. None of the guest stars, including Christian, have appeared in the CSI franchise before.

CSI: New York keeps things going on Wednesday at 10:00pm EST with "Buzzkill", and it's a shocking experience for one model:

When a supermodel is found dead in a giant martini glass on a Times Square billboard, the CSI team follows the evidence in search of the party crasher.

This is Jeffrey Hunt's second time directing New York, the other being "Obsession" in season three, and he has also directed five episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, including this season's "Go to Hell". This is Jill Abbinanti's first time writing for the CSI franchise.

Scottie Thompson was in the CSI: Miami episode "Death Pool 100" last season. David Rogers was in "Post Mortem" during CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's seventh season. This is his first time in front of the camera. Tracey Ruggiero worked as a stunt double in the CSI episode "Big Shots".

On Thursday, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation says "Goodbye and Good Luck" to one of its own at 9:00pm EST:

In Jorja Fox's last episode, a suspect from Sara's past returns, causing her to question her future as a CSI.

"Goodbye and Good Luck" is Kenneth Fink's forty-third turn in the director's chair for CSI. He also directed last week's episode, "Who and What". Sarah Goldfinger has written 20 episodes of CSI, including "A La Cart" from earlier this season. She wrote the story for this episode with Allen MacDonald. MacDonald has written eight previous episodes of CSI, the latest being last week's "Who and What", which he co-wrote with Naren Shankar.
