The cast and crew of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation descended on Las Vegas yesterday for one of their regular location shoots.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the production team were filming sequences for the season premiere, "Assume Nothing", in the quintessential Vegas location: a hotel/casino. In this case, it was the Green Valley Ranch, which opened its pool, bar, casion and restaurant to CSI.
Executive producer Anthony Zuiker said he was "very excited" about being able to shoot at the Green Valley Ranch. "We're still longing for a relationship with a hotel that will really let us shoot whenever and wherever we'd like."
Five regular CSI cast members were called up for the location scenes: William Petersen (Gil Grissom), Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) and George Eads (Nick Stokes).
The shoot concludes today, but a return visit from the CSI team could be on the agenda later this year. The full article can be found here at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Thanks to the William Petersen Appreciation Page for this!
