  • George Eads (Nick Stokes) is scheduled to be a guest on CBS's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tomorrow night, the 12th of August.

  • MargHelgenberger.net, a fan site covering CSI's Catherine Willows actress, may not be shutting down after all. The webmasters have announced they have found several indviduals willing to take over the site, but they're still looking for someone who can create a new Flash intro for the site.

  • The William Petersen Appreciation Page reports that on the 27th of August, the Gil Grissom actor will take part in the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Benefit. Other celebrities attending the event will include CSI: New York's Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor), as well as NYPD Blue's Dennis Franz.

  • Canadian actor David Julian Hirsh has landed a recurring role on CSI: New York, playing new main lab tech Zack Shannon. According to the actor's official web site, he has already finished filming the first three episodes of the show. Thanks go out to Stacey for this!

  • DavidCarusoFans.com has a video clip of David Caruso (Horatio Caine) paying tribute to Reggie Miller when he retired in the Spring of 2005. At the end of his final game, the network played personal messages to Miller from several celebrities.

  • Issue 18 of the British CSI Magazine will feature Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) on the cover. Inside the mag are articles on the lie detector, real-life CSI Robbie Dahn, and a guide to the two episodes on the accompanying DVD, "You've Got Male" and "Identity Crisis."

  • JustAdam.net has posted scans of the recent TV Guide article previewing CSI: Miami's new season, containing photos of many of the cast members.

  • Keeper of the Past, a short indie film starring Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko), will be shown at HDFest, a South Florida film festival held on the 9th and 10th of September. More information is available at IBC News.

  • New screencaps of the second-season original CSI episode "Primum Non Nocere" are now available at Erica's CSI Caps Page.

  • The Utah-based Herald Journal recently investigated the local CSI effect, talking with local county attorney George Daines, who confirmed shows like CSI have an impact on juries. Despite having seen the show only a few times, he said it included inaccurate portrayals of the court system. "What you don't see portrayed on television is that the overwhelming percentage of people charged with crimes plead guilty," Daines said.

  • Last week, super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer scored a major success when the three most-watched programs of the week were Bruckheimer productions: CSI, Without A Trace and CSI: Miami. Read more on this here.

  • MediaPost reports that Khandi Alexander (Alexx Woods) will soon film a cooking segment with culinary expert Tori Ritchie for a CBS cross-promotion with retailer Williams-Sonoma.
