Hello World!

This crazy, crazy weather is really starting to get tired.

First of all, if you live in Florida, please be careful. If they tell you to evacuate, do it! No house is worth the life of a person. The majority of people who die here when a hurricane comes die due to circumstances completely unrelated to the hurricane itself (they go outside and step on something they shouldn't and suddenly they're bacon, etc). I know I'm, like, the last person who should be giving advice on this, but put the cameras and surf boards away and be safe. Photography is cool, but no one is going to care about your pictures if you're dead, except maybe to go, "this girl caught a nice shot of a flying piece of roof... right before it split her in half." And I know those waves are cool, I myself fight the urge to ride them, but there's plenty of good waves during the rest of the years, dudes.

It's been raining a lot here recently. So much that I actually started building an arc. I live in Puerto Rico, so I'm afraid that only my family, two of every species of mosquitoes, and I will be able to survive. Hopefully, some good looking family in Greenland is doing the same so we can re-populate the Earth... until the mosquitoes take over.

CSI Files Two Years Ago

Here's what was hot back in July of 2003:

  • Heidi Klum To Strut Her Stuff In 'Miami'
Supermodel Heidi Klum guest starred as herself in the Miami episode "Blood Brothers." In the episode, the model talked about her upcoming acting gigs while a murder occurred just outside the club.

  • Bruckheimer Empire To Expand
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer two years ago was having a hard time trying to balance out the workload from all his shows and movies. "I'm switching gears here," he told USA Today. "All weekend, we did a junket for Pirates of the Caribbean. I did about 120 interviews. And we were up almost half the night trying to do the sound for it. So, I'm (still) listening to cannons going off." The producer might feel the same way when the second part of the famous movie hits theatres soon.

  • Seven Emmy Nominations For 'CSI' Franchise
The CSI shows received seven Emmy nominations, including Best Drama for CSI and Best Actress for Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows). Miami snagged one of the nominations for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.

The team discovers his car is covered with acetone, which traces back to one of the female guests. She reveals that she dated Laken and he dumped her, so she doused his car with nail polish remover for revenge, but she didn't kill him. Now, when Horatio and the team learn that Laken recently witnessed a serious assault at a Miami Heat basketball game, they are on the hunt for two perps instead of one."
