Ask Jeff Mariotte Questions
By CaillanJune 11, 2003 - 11:20 AM
CSI Files is giving readers the chance to participate in a question and answer session with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation comic writer and editor Jeff Mariotte.
Jeff Mariotte is the editor-in-chief of IDW Publishing, the company behind the CSI comic books. The first CSI comic mini-series, Serial, took readers into the world of a Jack the Ripper-style serial killer.
In July, IDW will publish the 48-page one-shot comic, Thicker Than Blood, written by Mariotte with art by Gabriel Rodriguez and Ashley Wood. The comic features two storylines: the disappearance of an Elvis impersonator and a threat on the life of a mobster. Jeff Mariotte will personally sign every copy of the first printing.
The second CSI comic mini-series, Bad Rap, will debut in August. Penned by crime writer Max Allan Collins, the new series takes Grissom and the team into the world of gangsta rap.
Outside the CSI arena, Jeff Mariotte has penned comics and novels for successful television series such as Star Trek, Charmed, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. His original series, Desperadoes, was nominated for International Horror Guild and Bram Stoker awards.
Jeff Mariotte has kindly agreed to answer questions from readers about IDW Publishing's CSI comics. To submit your question, please use the following form:
