Eads Talks 'Grave Danger' With Regis And Kelly
By CarolinaMay 11, 2005 - 10:03 PM
George Eads (Nick Stokes) recently appeared on Regis and Kelly to discuss the Quentin Tarantino directed season finale of CSI.
"It's gonna be a two-hour season finale that Quentin Tarantino directed," Eads revealed. "And we have some things blowing up. We have one of our main characters in a lot of trouble, pushed to the envelope with the death thing, as usual." The 38-year-old actor will also have the opportunity to push the envelope with his acting, as it was recently revealed it will be his character, Nick Stokes, who gets buried alive in the two-hour episode that will leave fans waiting all summer to learn of the character's fate.
Having auditioned for the Tarantino film Jackie Brown in the late 90s, Eads was already familiar with Tarantino's directorial approach, but the actor admitted working with the famous director is often unpredictable. "It's almost like when people have an office, and it's really messy, and you say it's a controlled mess... Quentin's kind of a controlled mess," Eads said. "We were pretty surprised to realize that he knew every show from the pilot. He's never missed an episode, he can tell us about every episode."
Eads also discussed his recent acquisition of a house he hasn't had the time to decorate and the restaurant on Hollywood Blvd. he co-owns with a friend. "It's a movie theatre/restaurant, you can go watch a movie and be served dinner. [...] We like to have food that we really like to eat and hoped that it was contagious, like macaroni and cheese and stuff like that. It's catching on, it's pretty good."
