'Rap Sheet' Scores Big

A solid performance by CSI: Miami helped CBS to beat second place NBC by 62% in the overnight ratings last night.
Accoring to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Rap Sheet" earned a 14.6 rating/22 share. This means that 14.6% of households were watching CSI: Miami last night at 10pm, while 22% of all households watching television at the time were viewing the episode. "Rap Sheet" improved on last week's episode, "Not Landing", which scored a 13.0/19 (story), and even managed to best last week's new episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, "Turning of the Screws", which earned a 12.8/19 (story).
The four comedies which precede CSI: Miami performed well, with each one scoring first place in its time slot except for Yes, Dear, which came in second place. Everybody Loves Raymond scored 12.1/17 in the 9:00-9:30pm timeslot, while Two and a Half Men earned a 10.8/15 from 9:30-10pm.
CBS averaged an 11.0/16 in the overnights for the evening. NBC was a distant second with a 6.8/10. Miami's NBC competition, the second season of the reality show The Restaurant came in third place with a 5.0/7.
