The Yankees-Red Sox match-up failed to bat CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CBS from their place atop the overnight ratings on Thursday.
According to Zap2It, "Homebodies" earned a 16.1 rating/24 share, meaning that last night approximately 16.1 percent of households with television sets were tuned to the episode. CSI was watched by 24 percent of households watching television at the time.
While these ratings are down slightly from last week's numbers for "All For Our Country", the baseball playoffs affected overall viewership on CBS, ABC and NBC, whose comedies suffered the most. CSI remained the night's most-watched program.
CBS averaged a 12.8/20 for prime time, while NBC brought in an 11.3/17 and FOX took third place with scores of 8.0/12.
Complete ratings, which may change significantly because of the live event, will be available next week. The original article and a photo of Marg Helgenberger may be found at Zap2It.
