Mansfield University has created a new forensic science minor after demand from students inspired by CSI to enter the crime-solving profession, the Hartford Courant reported. The new minor includes elements of criminal justice, chemistry and physics.
A five-day seminar for forensic scientists was held in Boise, Idaho, recently, according to KBCI 2. The real-life crime scene analysts tested their skills by processing fictious murders.
