Helgenberger Defends Her Husband's Image

Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) last night appeared in the Late, Late Show, where she insisted her husband, Alan Rosenberg, is nothing like his character Adam Novak.
"Actually, that was so unlike him because he's really a nice Jewish boy," Helgenberger told host Craig Ferguson. "I mean, he's got obviously, he's rough on the edges at times, but the crew kept asking me, 'was it fun working with your husband?' And I said, 'fun isn't the right word for it.' Cause he kinda, like, takes some of the rough edges home with him when he's playing those kind of roles."
Helgenberger also discussed CSI's popularity, which sometimes gets in the way of her vacation time. "It's funny, cause it's a big hit everywhere and it's odd when you get swarmed in places around, like the Spanish Steps."
If there's one place on earth where fans specifically look for the actors of the show it's Las Vegas, where the CSI crew travels four times a year for filming. Though Helgenberger's husband is a poker expertise, Helgenberger revealed even her familiarity with the city hasn't taught her to keep a power face. "I'm not much of a gambler," the actress laughed. "I tried Blackjack a few times, but I get nervous!"
But Helgenberger doesn't get nervous outside the Vegas casinos. The actress revealed that in order to prepare for her role on CSI, she rode around the streets with a few criminalists, and admitted she wouldn't mind getting caught in a high-speed chase. "I would love that!"
