'CSI' Season Two To Be Released In Region 2

Momentum Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the first twelve episodes of the second season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will be released on Region 2 DVD on July 28th.

According to The R2 Project, the three-disk set will include extras such as a 37-minute feature on the cast and crew, a set walk-through with the show's forensic advisor, Liz Devine, and behind-the-scenes featurettes about CSI's music, makeup and special effects.

The set will also include audio commentaries by producers, directors and cast members on the episodes "Burked", "Alter Boys" and "Ellie" as well as a music video to The Who's "Who Are You?", the CSI theme song, which was included on the Region 1 first season DVD set.

The release will be priced at £39.99.

The first season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was released in two Region 2 sets that featured 3D menus and animated virtual labs. The first and second sets are available from Amazon.co.uk. In the US and Canada, the entire first season is available as a single set from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca.
