  • The Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) website MargHelgenberger.com will be shutting down again in the upcoming weeks. However, the webmaster is interested in selling the domain. "Thought I could find enjoyment running this site as a hobby but it's too time consuming and the amount of disrespect I get from visitors has turned me off from continuing this site," she announced.

  • Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) centered screen caps of the episode "Killer" are now available at Jorja Fox Online.

  • But screen caps of the same episode, featuring the whole cast, can be found at Beyond Imagination and CSI Caps.com.

  • CSI Caps.com also has screen caps of the New York episode "Stuck On You."

  • On the CSI: Miami front, Miami Style has screen caps of the last two episodes: "Fade Out" and "Skeletons."

  • DVD Times has provided a review of the complete 5th season of CSI on DVD, which was released last October. According to the website, the DVD set is a must buy, of only for the strong plots the season contained. "Not a single episode here is 'weak'. Not in the traditional sense of the word, anyway - it’s a thoroughly consistent show, and Season 5 contains some of the best episodes yet."

  • The 31st issue of the CSI: Official DVD Collection has been unveiled. The issue, with Jim Brass on the cover, features a look into murder for love, an episode guide for "Lady Heather's Box," and a feature on scent pads and tracking dogs. Other issues are also available for purchase at the British website.

  • Actor Nick Moran, who appeared in the CSI: Miami episode "Payback," was shocked to find out the show is actually filmed in Los Angeles, not Miami. "I was looking forward to hanging out on Ocean Drive. But when I got to California, I learned that they shoot the entire show in an LA studio and simply use a backdrop whenever they need to get in a picture of the Miami skyline. I was a bit disappointed - getting to hang out in Miami was part of the reason I took the job."

  • Gary Sinise (May Taylor) told the Arizona Republic how he got so involved in military affairs. "About 20, 25 years ago, I was working on some material in the theater that was written by a group of Vietnam veterans based on their experiences," he said. "When I saw that, it kind of changed me quite a bit. It made me think a lot about what I was doing when I was 19 years old, and so I got actively involved in that particular production because I wanted to portray these characters the right way, and I was directing the play. So I took my cast to the VA a bunch of times, and we sat around with Vietnam veterans who were going through post-traumatic stress. I became very involved with Vietnam veteran issues and veterans groups."

  • If you enjoyed watching Lindsay Monroe shoot a couple of arrows on New York's "Stuck On You" as much as she enjoyed firing them, you'll also enjoy learning more about this weapon. The 2006 Target Blue-Chrome Tribute was created by BowTech, and the company's VP of marketing Gene Shands couldn't be more proud to see one of his products on TV. "What a great opportunity for additional brand exposure to millions of potential new archers. The CSI folks required a high performance archery product that represented the industry's latest and greatest technology, and they got it."

  • The CSI Effect is now hitting small towns. In Rock Hill, South Carolina, a relatively new forensics unit is having difficulties dealing with the misconceptions created by CSI. "I think the public perceives us, just from shows like CSI, that we have glamorous jobs, that we're batting a thousand percent," said Kevin Tolson, supervisor of the York County Multijurisdictional Forensic Services Unit. "That's not true." Still, if CSI has gotten something right it's the notion that the bad guy never truly gets away with it. "Because of forensics, I don't think there will ever be a way to commit the perfect crime."

  • CSI: Miami continues to take the world by storm. The show's ratings are increasing considerably in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, where fans are now seeing the third season. "Credit goes to the producers of the CSI series, they have been able to keep the plots fresh and engaging through the years, even though there are already three different CSI series now. This phenomenal rating for CSI: Miami season three finale clearly shows that the series is just getting better," Ricky Ow of SPE Asia said. Miami is also a fan favorite in many European countries.

  • Procedural dramas may have new competition from a newer, more innovative formula: killer serials. These are television shows that follow a single plotline all through a season – examples include Lost, Prison Break, and the upcoming Vanished. But this doesn't mean procedurals are on their way out, either – network executives are trying to figure out how to provide viewers a balance doses of both formulas.

  • Fan Leslie Ann reports that David Caruso (Horatio Caine) has become the new face of T-Mobile Europe. The actor will shoot a television commercial in July, to be broadcast in October.
