Skateboarder Tony Hawk has landed a guest-starring role in the upcoming CSI: Miami episode, "Game Over".
Hawk will play a famous skateboarder who is murdered while producing a video game. Horatio and his team must find the killer in the episode "Game Over", which is set to air some time during April. The skateboarder will be filming his scenes on the 22nd and 23rd of February.
Tony Hawk has been a professional skateboarder since the age of 15 and is considered by some as the best skateboarder of all time. He has won 6 gold medals in the ESPN X-Games and is the first skateboarder in history to be able to complete a 900-degree trick. Though Hawk portrays himself in most of his guest appearances, he has played fictional characters in movies such as Gleaming the Cube and Haggard: The Movie. Like the character he will be portraying in Miami, he has contributed to the production of 9 skateboard related video games.
In conjunction with Hawk's guest role, the Tony Hawk Foundation will be auctioning two passes to the CSI: Miami set. The lucky winners will get a chance to visit the set of Miami along with Hawk. Proceeds from this auction will benefit the Tony Hawk Foundation, which helps underprivileged communities build quality skateboarding parks.
To bid on this auction, head over to eBay.com. The auction will close on the 12th of February.
