The denizens of the Las Vegas crime lab will reportedly to reveal more information about their personal lives just in time to coincide with the February and May sweeps periods.

According to the January 2 issue of TV Guide, the sexual tension between Warrick and Catherine that led to a near-kiss in "Down the Drain" will continue throughout the rest of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's fifth season. This story arc will culminate in "an episode in May that could finally answer the question: Will they or won't they?"

Meanwhile, new details surrounding Sara's background are set to emerge during this February's crop of episodes. She will "face some deep, dark issues from her past -- a family tragedy that could explain her strained relationship with Gil and have repercussions on her future as a CSI agent". This will likely relate to the People vs. Laura Sidle case from 1984 that Sara looked up at the end of "No Humans Involved".

Things will be no less tense across the country in the Big Apple. In the second half of CSI: New York's freshman season, Mac will continue to deal with the death of his wife, while Stella reportedly "confronts a painful childhood incident: finding her father murdered". Danny's status as the crime lab's golden boy and his imminent promotion could be put on hold when he "lands in some trouble".

The complete article can be found in the January 2 issue of TV Guide. Thanks to Al Fornos and Andrea for this!
