  • Gary Sinise's Operation Iraqi Children recently received a $25,000 grant from AT&T. Operation Iraqi Children was co-founded by Sinise, who plays Mac Taylor on CSI: New York, in 2004 to make school supplies available to Iraqi Children.

  • According to Mike Ausiello, of TV Guide's Ask Ausiello column, tonight's episode of CSI will take a closer look at Grissom's life, specifically his past. Tonight's episode, "Still Life," will air at 9/8c.

  • TV Guide also revealed more secrets regarding Catherine's past will come to light during an episode airing in January, secrets that the CSI wishes would've stayed buried. Said showrunner Carol Mendelsohn, "Once again, a shadow of suspicion is cast on Catherine's dad, and then truth is much closer to home that she would ever suspect." Mendelsohn also said Nick Stokes will soon learn about the tape Grissom has kept hidden from him, and Walter Gordon's accomplice will finally be revealed this January.

  • The Jonathan Togo (Ryan Wolfe) website Jonathan Togo Online now has screen caps of the CSI: Miami episode "Shattered."

  • Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) flew to Ireland recently to attend the wedding of singer Marilyn Manson to girlfriend Dita Von Teese. Thanks to Marinell deGraffenreid for the info.

  • Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told the Tufts Daily how he maintains his level of success. "I think by staying on it, by having talented people around you. And just making sure you don't take a vacation. I love what I do...I just read this morning on the bike while I was working out, I read CSI: Miami, which is entertaining...That's why I make things that I like; it would be awful producing something that I really didn't have any interest in."

  • The Metro Toronto asked Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) what his first job was and what he learned from it. Though the actor doesn't remember his first job, he remembers the lessons it taught him. "I think what I've learned really is that you have to do your best job no matter what it is and you should just always represent yourself in the best way possible. And you make sure that you get paid for what you do, get paid what you think is just."

  • The Screen Actor's Guild internal struggles seem to have intensified since Alan Rosenberg took over in September. Rosenberg's firing of SAG national executive director Greg Hessinger created more ire within some members of the union, who saw the firing as an "arrogant display of power." SAG members from New York and Chicago have threatened to split from the Los Angeles union if the problems continue. Rosenberg is married to CSI star Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows).

  • The Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) website JFO has pictures of the actress participating in the Feed a Turkey Ceremony, which took place this past November.

  • Starting December, Verizon Wireless's V Cast subscribers will be able to receive video previews from all three CSIs, as well as other popular CBS series and shows.

  • The website ing.com reviewed the complete first season of CSI: New York on DVD and gave the set an overall rating of 9 out of 10. Said Steve Head of the video quality, "If anything, the producers of this set cared to make it look great. The video presentation is spotless. And I mean, through and through spotless."

  • The Margarita Mix Hollywood has been selected to produce the audio elements for the third CSI video game CSI 3: Dimensions of Murder. "Audio is essential to and enhances the gaming experience," said Geoff Nathanson, general manager at Margarita Mix Hollywood. "Gamers expect quality and developers know that high quality audio can make a difference. Our mixers know how to work with the people creating these games to take the sound to the next level."

  • In Ontario, real life coroner Dr. Barry McLellan had to plea with the province for years to renovate his facilities, which were so outdated the antiquated ventilation system, or lack thereof, put the staff at risk of Legionnaires' disease. The new building won't be as impressive as the ones seen on CSI but will lower the health risks significantly.

  • Viewer Bill Schultz caught an obscure reference in one of the recent episodes of CSI. "When analyzing tire prints from a crime scene, it turned out the prints were made by a Michelin model XGV 75R14 model tire. This is, coincidentally, the exact same tire that was on both Ralph Macchio's and the getaway car's tires in My Cousin Vinny, as was testified to at the trial."

  • TV Squad's Ryan J. Budke has more time on his hands now, and is asking fans of CSI: New York to convince him to watch the show. Head over to the website and tell Budke why you love New York so much.

  • In Des Moines, a mobile science lab is visiting different campuses to give students a taste of what it's like to be a real CSI.

  • Screen caps of the season 4 CSI episode "Getting Off" are now available at Beyond Imagination.

  • The 26th issue of the CSI: Official DVD Collection will be available for purchase soon. The issue includes an interview with cinematographer Michael Barrett, a feature on how to identify a body, and a closer look at the episode "The Execution of Catherine Willows." This and other issues can be purchased here.

  • According to viewer Michelle, actress Tricia Helfer, who played Ashleigh James in the CSI episode "The Hunger Artist," will host the Canadian version of America's Next Top Model, Canada's Next Top Model.
