  • CSI: New York's Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) will deliver the keynote speech at Winston-Salem State University's 117th Spring Commencement ceremony in North Carolina on May 9, 2009.

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air original episodes every week from April 9 until the season finale on May 14. CBS planned things this way to give new series Harper's Island a solid lead-in for its first six weeks. (Source)

  • Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) has no trouble dealing with the blood and gore on CSI because she used to work at a meat packing plant:

It really sucked. I did things like cut abscesses from chucks of beef and pulled gristle and fat off the assembly line… I suppose it would happen about three or four times a shift. You would take a stab at it and sometimes it would splurt.

The original information is from I Need My Fix.

  • CSI: NY star AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) will attend the unofficial Hell Hounds convention the weekend of October 30, 2009. He will join other members of the fictional "Ghostfacers" group from the CW series Supernatural. (Thanks to VelvetRose from TalkCSI for the heads up.)

  • Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami's Eric Delko) has been cast in the upcoming Tyler Perry film I Can Do Bad All By Myself. (Source)

  • New York's Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and his Lt Dan Band recently visited the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center and gave a free performance for the troops and their families in Twentynine Palms, California. "I know there's not much out here," Sinise told Military.com. "The people seem to enjoy when I come. I hope they see that they're appreciated."

  • Sinise's band is scheduled to perform at Steppenwolf's Gala 2009 on April 18 in Chicago, Illinois. They will also perform in Canada at the Niagara Fallsview Casino on July 24. (Sources: NWI and Niagara Falls Review)
