CSI: Crime Scene Investigation brings home two awards.

The Hollywood Post Alliance, or HPA, is a trade association. They represent businesses and individuals in Southern California who provide the experience and tools to create and finish television programs, movies, commercials and more. The HPA Awards were created to acknowledge excellence in post-production.

CSI received two awards at this year's gala. The first was in TV color grading. In this case, color grading is the process of altering or enhancing the color of the images on the television show. Paul Westerbeck of the Post Group received the award for "Built to Kill, Part One".

The other award was in audio post. Audio post production involves sound design, editing, mixing and additional effects. The episode "Living Doll" was acknowledged, and the award went to Mace Matiosian, Bill Smith, Yuri Reese, Ruth Adelman, Jivan Tahmizian and Chad Hughes of Todd AO.
