- CBS has posted a trailer for CSI: Miami season premiere which can be reached by clicking on the link on the main page.
- E! Online reports that while several networks plan to pre-empt their regular Thursday night lineups on 9/11 this year to cover ceremonies at Ground Zero, the former site of the World Trade Center in New York, CBS will air CSI and Without a Trace as usual.
- Hispanic Business in Miami reported that host George Lopez took unfair potshots at CSI: Miami star David Caruso, saying he "'wouldn't last 10 seconds in this heat'", which the publication labeled "not only unpleasant but stupid, considering that Caruso (unlike Lopez) actually lives here."
- Jorja Fox: Online has new images, including the Sara Sidle actress at the TV Guide Awards in 2001 and a Memento publicity shot.
- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest star Maury Sterling, who played Mr. Molineaux in "Random Acts of Violence", will play a telepathic alien on an upcoming episode of Enterprise. Details are available at TrekToday.
- Citing the popularity of both CSI and CSI: Miami, Carlow College has created a new program to train students to become autopsy specialists and forensic investigators.
- An article on casting diversity in new comedies and crime dramas at Backstage.com featured a quote by Peter Golden, senior vice president of Talent and Casting, on CBS dramas: "We always emphasize [ethnic] diversity, particularly on shows like The Handler, Judging Amy, and CSI Miami."
