The franchise battles reality TV with mixed results.
On Monday, a repeat of CSI: Miami won its timeslot with 8.07 million viewers and a 2.1 rating/6 share in the crucial 18-49 demographic. The second half of a two-hour episode of Nashville Star came in second with 5.97 million viewers, and The Mole rounded out the timeslot with 3.94 million viewers. In the 18-49 demo, Mole came out ahead with 1.6/5 over Star's 1.6/4 (dropping to 1.5/5 at the half-hour).
CSI: New York's repeat came out on top in overall viewers with 8.42 million but second among adults 18-49 with 1.9/6. Primetime: Crime came in second in overall viewers with 5.65 million. In the 18-49 demo, Primetime had 1.8/6. Celebrity Circus came in third in viewers (4.96 million), but it achieved the top spot in the key demographic (1.9/6).
The repeat of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation earned the number one spot in overall viewers on Thursday with 7.01 million, beating So You Think You Can Dance (6.51), Last Comic Standing (5.34) and Grey's Anatomy (2.67). In the 18-49 demo, Dance and Comic tied for first with 2.0/7 and 1.9/7, respectively. CSI came in behind the reality shows with 1.4/5, followed by Grey's (0.8/3).
