Hello World!
Hello, everyone.
Well, my computer is on strike. It's got a guitar and everything, and it's singing Dylan songs. We have no idea what's wrong with it, except we can't turn it on. I realize this is, like, every shut-in's nightmare, but I've decided not to let it get to me. Sure, I keep rocking back and forth in a corner, I'm losing my hair, and my fingers keep tapping on an imaginary keyboard, but I'm cool. Cause real life is more important.
That’s when you have a life. When you don’t… well, it just plain sucks.

CSI Files Two Years Ago
Here's what was happening back in early September of 2003:
- Petersen Explains How Gil Grissom Got His Name
William Petersen revealed two years ago how his character ended up with the interesting moniker of Gil Grissom. According to the actor, the character's first name is an homage to one of his hobbies. "I like to fish, so Gil I thought was good." The actor also added that while choosing the name of a character, "You've gotta get them cleared, to make sure that nobody in Las Vegas has got that name, so they don't get bugged for the rest of their lives." - Reviewers Praise New 'CSI' DVD Set
According to online reviews, the complete second season of CSI on DVD was a vast improvement over the first DVD set. TV Shows on DVD commented on the visual aspects of the DVDs, "the grain found in the first season has been reduced a great deal and the picture looks outstanding." - 'The O.C.' To Take On 'CSI'
Like many other networks, FOX tried to take a shot at CSI by putting newcomer The OC opposite the show. While The OC was an instant hit, it couldn't steal CSI's ratings crown.

- Tonight at 10:00pm, CBS will be repeating CSI: Miami's "One Night Stand." Here's how the network describes the episode:
"The CSIs uncover a complex counterfeiting operation after a bell boy is found murdered at one of Miami's hottest hotels. The luggage that the deceased bellboy had been loading, as well as a heist of a special paper that money is printed on, leads the CSIs to uncover a complex counterfeiting operation. It's cruise season in Miami, which means that the population of Miami swells, giving the team even more suspects to the murder. Meanwhile, Calleigh must investigate when a woman goes missing, and is later found dead, after she and her husband attend a hot and flirty "friction" party."
- On Wednesday at 10:00pm, you'll be able to watch a repeat of CSI: New York's "The Closer." CBS describes the episode as follows:
"The team examines the murder of an avid Boston fan found dead with a ruptured spleen following a tough loss against New York. Danny must put his baseball skills to the test to piece together the evidence as the CSIs try to find out how and why he was murdered. Meanwhile, after testifying in a murder trial, Mac is confronted by the defendant, Quinn Sullivan, who questions the validity of the evidence. Mac is torn between trusting science or his desire to help a man facing jail time who swears he's innocent. Also, when a barely clad woman is killed by a truck early one morning, the team investigates why she was running through the streets and from whom."
- Finally, on Thursday at 9:00pm, CBS has scheduled a repeat of the original CSI's "Crow’s Feet." This is what you can expect from the episode:
"Catherine is called to the scene of an apparent death from Ebola, but the autopsy reveals the lesions on the female victim's skin are from cosmetic surgery. After a second female victim is found dead with similar indicators, Catherine and Nick discover that both women have recently undergone an anti-aging treatment from a plastic surgeon. Meanwhile, Grissom, Sara and Greg investigate a homeowner found dead inside his tented house post-fumigation."
In addition to the above episodes on CBS, cable channel SpikeTV will of course continue its daily CSI repeats.
