  • CBS has released an iPhone application that will allow users to stream episodes from TV.com straight to their phones. The application is free, and available shows include the CSI series. (Sources: The New York Times and CBS4)

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Robert David Hall (Dr Al Robbins) was one of the emcees at the Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) Leadership Gala in Washington, DC on Wednesday, March 4. The event honored three emerging disability rights leaders: Stephanie Enyart, Victor Santiago Pineda and Maureen McKinnon-Tucker. These Paul G. Hearne Award winners each received $10,000 to continue their work in the disability community. (Source)

  • Hall will also be a special guest at the American Foundation for the Blind's 2009 Access Awards Thursday, March 5.

  • The animated adventure Wonder Woman, starring Marg Helgenberger (CSI's Catherine Willows) as the goddess Hera, is now out on DVD. Wonder Woman is a full-length feature cartoon and is rated PG-13. (The information, as well as details about the film, can be found at Wired.)

  • When CSI writer-producer David Rambo contacted the family of legendary columnist Ann Landers about creating a play (The Lady With All the Answers), Landers' daughter Margo Howard asked a lot of questions. "I realized David was one of those people, a generation younger than I, who grew up with mother and felt great admiration for her," Howard shared. (Source)

    When Taylor Swift was offered a role on CSI, the singer and budding actress jumped at the opportunity. "I always wanted to be on CSI," she told Metro. "I didn't really care what kind of role it was, if I was a criminal, a killer or a victim. I wanted to be on that show so bad and I finally got my chance, so I took it!" Swift's episode, "Turn, Turn, Turn", airs this week.

  • CSI: New York executive producer Peter Lenkov told TV Guide that the last four episodes of the season "are very heavy" when it comes to Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes). "One will wrap up the Greek coin smuggling ring (that Stella is heavily involved in) and the murders associated with that," Lenkov continued. "Two episodes are very emotional stories that involve Mac, and in one of those we learn more about Mac's father."
