- A repeat of CSI: Miami's "Lost Son" garnered 10.8% of the American audience, which equates to 16% of those households watching TV that night (compared to 14.2/24 last week). The show netted 14.41 million viewers and was top of the hour, despite it being a repeat. A full report is available at Mediaweek's Programming Insider.
- A review of the original show's latest episode "Swap Meet" is now up with the usual snark-filled style at Television Without Pity. The review of the previous week's episode, "Crow's Feet" is also up here.
- Speaking of "Crow's Feet", Pest Control magazine notes that there was some relief after pest controllers were not flooded with a torrent of calls after the show depicted a man being fumigated to death by a bogus pest controller.
- The New York Post has an inteview with Aisha Tyler (Mia Dickerson) about her various TV appearances, including CSI and Fox's 24. Thanks to Al Forno for this!
- The Jane Pauley Show tonight will feature an interview with Melina Kanakaraedes (Stella Bonasera). According to NBC, "With the influx of shows like "CSI: New York," more and more viewers are becoming fascinated by the inner workings of law enforcement and crime scene investigations. No one is more interested than Melina Kanakaredes herself - the star of this new show - who spent weeks training under the careful eye of real-life investigators. - Yahoo! News reports that four potential successors have been lined up to replace Craig Kilborn on CSI network CBS's The Late Late Show.
- Star-Telegram.com has made note of CSI's 100th anniversary episode as one of the highlights of the sweeps season.
- Fan site All You Can Eads has on-set photos available of George Eads (Nick Stokes) and Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass).
- The Miami Herald reports that Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins) will celebrate his 56th birthday next week, on Tuesday November 9th.
- SignOnSanDiego.com columnist Karla Peterson has written an article about ethnic minorities in TV, including CSI's Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) and CSI:NY's Hill Harper (Sheldon Hawkes). She notes that "the rising actors-of-color profile brings the television we watch one step closer to looking like the lives we live," and also praises Dourdan, adding that she hopes to see more character development for Harper.
- Speaking of CBS, Writer's Guild of America columnist Susan Littwin has an article about women running shows on the network, including none other than CSI staff members Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue.
