Fox: Grissom/Sara Isn't Over Yet

Will Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle finally get together next season? Actress Jorja Fox isn't giving any secrets away, but one thing is for sure: the sexual tension between the two CSIs isn't going anywhere.
"I don't think we've seen the end of that story line," Fox told Coeli Carr at the New York Post. "I think we're going to have a very personal year for the characters this year, more so than we've ever done."
Grissom and Sara have been dancing around each other since the latter joined the Las Vegas crime lab in "Cool Change". Hints at their feelings for each other have ranged from the "mile high club" conversation in "Unfriendly Skies" to Grissom calling Sara "honey" in last season's "Play With Fire".
Since CSI has always focused on the science, personal relationships usually take a backseat to the crime of the week. By leaving the Grissom and Sara relationship at the subtextual level, the writers have kept the audience guessing as to their true feelings for each other. "Billy [Petersen] and I both love the fact that people have different takes on it," Fox said. "It's kind of a little bit controversial. It takes on its own substance. People read into it what they want to."
But with over twenty million viewers watching each week, you can't please everybody. "We're leaving it to the writers to follow their hearts, because they're always going to be annoying someone, so you can't win," Fox said.
The complete interview is available here at the New York Post. Thanks to Playing With Fire for this!
